LE VOCI LUIGI “Tribute to Luigi Le Voci (1938-2015)”

In December 2019 I shared the “Gratitude” project, born from an idea…

…by Cecco Palmieri to create environments sensitive to the use of permanent exhibition projects, shared by international associations or foundations.

The pilot project aims to guarantee the maximum degree of transparency in the promotion of itinerant works by emerging artists, as well as communication aimed at supporting the exhibition projects of all those artists who, with constant solidarity, create itinerant contemporary art collections aimed at supporting projects. Solidarity Non-profit.
The originality of the project consists in creating an added value with the beauty of the territory that hosts us. the Permanent Exposition joins the works of frescoes in the adjacent rooms: drawings on “Man and Nature”, made only with brushes, painting and the creativity of the artists, to create over time a mutual gift between art and patronage.
The free donation will then allow to support and “disseminate” the work of art “Gift of Gratitude”. This work can be used for anniversaries, embellish exhibitions, events and workplaces. Furthermore, it may be associated with the project as a traveling work, with the mention of the donor’s name.

The recipient of this permanent exhibition for fundraising has been identified in the category body that has been supporting and protecting the blind and partially sighted of the Province of Cosenza for years: the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired.

The UICI of Cosenza, in collaboration with the S.A.M. – Safety, Autonomy and Mobility, an institution that aims to ensure the accessibility of spaces and common places for people with sensory disabilities, will contribute to the project by making the donated works accessible, also involving Unical, University of Calabria with about 800 employees and 33 thousand students, within which the offer of the project with Free Entrance will be disclosed.

The project foresees a permanent exhibition at the UICI Multifunctional Center located in Rende in Via Parigi SCN (CS). Subsequently, itinerant exhibitions are planned on International locations that remain consistent with the ultimate goal of the project, therefore the funds raised will be donated in part to the UICI of Cosenza. Fundraising managers are members of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Cosenza.

Cecco Palmieri objective is the promotion of permanent and itinerant exhibition projects in Italy and abroad, creativity becomes the driving force of innovation, “idea generation”.
Cecco Palmieri manages R&D, disclosure and promotion the projects together UICI association, make themselves available to give information on the activity and guidelines of the Project, therefore consisting of exhibitions and accessibility to the Works and profiles of Artists, with the added support creative skills, technologies and innovation to ensure that they are visible to everyone.

The promotion of exhibitions to the public is not only a useful means of achieving the objectives but it is itself an objective: it is necessary that the public is made known to raise awareness, inform it, make it educated, providing all the tools necessary to make it dynamic towards of fruition.

The works on display support ideas and solutions based on ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
